MariMatic delivered a Taifun Vacuum Conveying system to Almarai in Hail, Saudi-Arabia, the biggest new poultry processing plant built in the world.
In 2013, MariMatic delivered a Taifun® vacuum conveying system for the biggest new poultry processing plant built in the world. The system efficiently and hygienically collects and divides both inedible and edible materials.
In 2022, systems were extended in Almarai. The Taifun® system is efficiently and hygienically conveying material from the processing of as much as 48.000 chickens per hour.
The ongoing Taifun® system’s performance has been excellent in Almarai, Saudi Arabia for 10 years. The world’s biggest poultry plant runs with 13 systems - 7 for inedible, 6 for edible - and has handled around 1M ton of material since the implementation. We were happy delivering 5 more Taifun® systems in their new plant extension as well in 2022.
