The company’s manufacturing unit Kapyysi pays great attention to the high level of hygiene in food production and customer safety. Kapyysi prepares over 14 000 portions of food per day in their professional kitchen.
MariMatic delivered the Taifun® Vacuum Conveying System to Kapyysi in 2010 for handling of the food waste. Automatic transporting of the waste with strong vacuum air flow ensures clean and hygienic working surroundings. Food waste is drawn immediately from the various working points with 11 suction funnels and no food waste is lying in the production area. The waste is conveyed through a closed pipeline directly to the waste container, where the waste ends up tightly compacted with no extra water in it.
The customer is very pleased with the waste collection solution, especially because of Taifun’s unique cleaning functionality, which uses minimum of water and detergents. The employees don’t need to transport and wash waste equipment, they can concentrate on the productive work. Taifun keeps working facilities clean and hygienic.
