MariMatic International Oy is honored to announce the design and construction of a Taifun Kitchen Vacuum Conveying system to be installed to serve restaurants at the KGX1 project in London (UK). Installation of the system will be completed during spring 2026.
"Our strong track record and proven expertise secured this exciting project for MariMatic. The Taifun components are manufactured in our own production facilities in Finland, and installations on-site are coordinated with local partners," says Sales Manager Petteri Koikkalainen.
MariMatic introduces a new Airport Collection System concept for managing waste collection economically, hygienically and reliably from number of waste collection points - even at large airports.
Our solution minimizes the need for airport staff to transport waste across terminals or spend valuable time on manual handling. Instead, both solid commercial waste and wet biowaste are conveyed to an underground Waste Transfer Terminal, serving everything from passenger areas and aircraft gates to offices, hotels, food courts and flight catering facilities.

Almarai, one of the world's largest poultry plants, has successfully utilized Taifun® systems for 12 years. Initially equipped with 14 systems, MariMatic delivered 5 additional systems in 2022 and will deliver 7 more in 2025, bringing the total number of suction points to over 100. The longest Taifun® vacuum conveying lines now exceed 500 meters inside the plant.
